Where is the dryer located???
If it's like the 451 all the A/C stuff (minus compressor) is up front - dryer is in there somewhere. As for that switch/relay (?) can you see a part number? Might be worth at least pricing one through a Canadian dealer or one of our supporting vendors with EU sources.

The AC in my (new) 2005 doesn't work either.
I think I'll wait till next summer to worry about it.
Sounds like an adventure to get this working.

The AC on these cars are just as easy to work on as any other car. Check your pressure on the LOW side and tell me what it is. It is behind the right fog (turn signal G&K cars) light. There are two wires that can come off of the low pressure sensor on the AC compressure. If one of them comes off the AC compressure will not come on. Now of course there is a posabliity that the SAM unit needs to be told again the the car is equiped with AC.

I forgot, if you have a Mercedes DAS go to the Main Menu then to Systems then to N3/10 Meg Motor then to Control Unit Adaptation then to Air Conditioning Activation then to F3 Start and put in the TAN code. This is only done if the car has lost the AC programing or it has never had AC to begin with.
