Hey All
I just did my 2nd oil change and did it a little different, and it TOOK for ever

, I also did service "A" as well.
I have a small rotary vane vacuum/pressure pump, I modified the cap of a 1 gallon jug so it has 2 threaded holes in the top. 1 hole goes to a 1/4 inch Teflon tube that goes down the dip stick tube, the second goes to the vacuum pump, so I am able to suck out the oil. 1st oil change I used the glass jug (bulk bottle of wine) and it worked fine, but I broke the bottle soon after (OOPPSS).
I have access to to very thick walled (or so I thought) solvent (acetone, methanol, etc) 1 gallon plastic bottles. where my town recycles used motor oil and I liked the idea of transporting plastic rather than glass filled with used oil, I thought the plastic containers would be a better idea "MORON".
Even though they are stronger bottles at slight suction with HOT motor oil coming in, it crushed like the beer can did on John Belushi's head in Animal House, so it took awhile.
Where I was changing from winter tires to summer tires, it was a GREAT time to do service "A", that went with out a hitch, BUT.
Then it was time to reset the maintenance indicator, WHAT A PAIN IN THE

that was (admittedly it was my first reset), I'm not quite sure of what one worked from Evil's site, but 1 of the 2 did (this took 30+min), now I have 2 wrenches and 10,000 to go

.
I've already cracked the 11K mile mark, I guess it's time to start ordering repair/spare parts from Eddy, I'll need plugs and brakes by the next one
Well the enough self abuse (therapy over

), I figured a few may find this amusing.
