I like your idea of making a database of 450's.
I would like to suggest that, as registrar, you solicit "City of location" to be added to the register. Maybe even: Cpe or Cab, Model, color etc.
Other possible inclusions:
1. Want to meet ?
2. Offer advice ?
3. Will share sources for parts, acc, things exclusive to the 450 ?
4. Do not contact ?
I'm sure there are more .
This could become a valuable resource for all 450 owners.

That is why I linked the "Profile" with the name (click on a name and it takes you to the SCOA profile page for that person), that way those who want to give out that info can chose to do that there.

Last 6 of VIN & I'll give you your relative DOT Release #
As a reminder, but only if you are interested, I can provide your relative DOT release number within the 1026 "450"s that are out there, if you can provide me the last 6 digits of your VIN#.

Great idea ASM. It's funny, I clicked on my profile and it doesn't show what I listed for my smarts. I have two 450 Passion coupes a black/ruby red and a silver/star blue. I guess too many characters or something.
I have really been enjoying the posts about everybody loving their smarts, getting used to the transmission, being the only one on the highway and all that good stuff. We tried to tell them but nobody would listen.
rgaus does that 1026 number include the cars that George brought in and sold or are they all ZAP cars? The number is not quite accurate as one of mine did not come from either source.
Cheers, Dan

My 2003 smart passion coupe is one of the ZAP G&K converted cars that precedes the 1026 G&K cars that Ron has DOT number for.

Mine is a 2004 cabrio G&K import. According to Ron it is #30 of #38 for the 2004's. It's kind of a cool thing to know about your car.
Thanks Ron for getting me this info!
