Windshield Cost for 450

Wanted to echo rgaus's thanks to you Scooterbill. And I also wanted to say we should meetup sometime with 2micro4u and get the Georgia smart group really going!

Would be great to meet other 450 owners, but here in Georgia, I'd be happy to meet any Smart car owners at all!

I had an object kicked into my windscreen and have been trying for two weeks to find replacement parts. Calling Gerber Collision now.

Per ScooterBill's post, I called Gerber Autoglass and Collision. They will be repairing my windshield, not as good a price as ScooterBill received but much better than getting the windshield from Canada.

That said, here is why Gerber can do the job. They have at least 2 centers in every state in the US and have at least 35 in Canada. Which means they can get the glass and molding from a dealer in Canada, send it to their places in the US and then do the repair work. Will be in touch with the local Gerber tomorrow morning to get an update (and to get some repair work done on my HHR).
