I have a 2006 Passion, bought it "new-used" in March. The car had only 211 miles on it. I now have 1100 miles on it and the "wrench" symbol has started coming on when I start the car. It says "-336" on the dash as well. From what I have read, this means service is need on the car, but I don't understand since I have only 1100 miles on the car.
Deb, It might be a good idea to take your car to a smart Service Center. The "wrench" may be indicating something needs attention. Of course, the question in my mind, "How would a two year old vehicle only have 211 miles on it?" Is it still under warranty?
You may also want to go in if it has not been given its 2.0 upgrade.
If you don't know, Pre upgraded smarts you need to move the shifter over to Manual to use the paddle shifters, and post updated ones can shift using the paddles without moving over from Auto.
Hi
It means that the car has gone 336 days past the need for its next service. The computer in the car counts down the time for a service in either miles (if you drive enough) or days (if you don't). i.e. X thousands of miles or one year which ever comes first.
