A question for you, cabrio owners:
When the ragtop is remotely opened and the motion alarm armed, does the movement of the roof trigger an alert? Or is it disabled for the operation?
Just technically curious...
The alarm isn't triggered; I've done this several times. Either the motion sensor doesn't detect the movement because of the top's location, or the sensor is deactivated, as you suggested.
If you reach into a cabrio you will find you do not trigger the alarm until you get down to where you can come close to reaching something. It does not guard at the roof level.
