Cabriolet Track Support

I've just changed my reservation from a coupe to a cabriolet. Since we bought an orphan that is a coupe, I'm willing to change our configmed smart and wait a couple extra months to change the model to a cabriolet.

However, I am confused about one thing. In some pictures of the cabriolet with the top down, I see the support bar for the roof and in other pcitures I don't. Is the track support removeable, or have they changed the design and there are two models out there?

The roof rails are removable in the cabrio model. You can leave them on or take them off for the full cabrio effect. You store the rails in a clever compartment in the tailgate door.
