Progress on Cruise Control

I've been following the progress of CC development very closely since December. There's a completed prototype and there's been some preliminary testing in a smart. They just posted a computer model of what the control stalk will look like. See it here: LINK It looks factory installed to me.

SmartieParts has the MDC cruise module for the 451. It uses the 450 stalk, which is slightly off color, but honestly, I can't tell it's not stock on mine, even in direct daylight. Had mine installed about a week now, install takes about 30 mins, simple. If you can change a stereo, you can install this mod.

Cruise Control - the never ending search?

ANY news about ANYONE who now has Cruise Control for Smart? Did the search thing, didn't see a current solution. Must be blind (again).

Cruise Control Levers

This is a picture of my Cruise control in my 451 from smartieParts (MDC). I just travelled from Toronto to NY, PA, NJ, VA, DC, OH, IL, MI in less than three weeks!! No problem at all with the CC.
