Fading plastic?

Hey everyone,

I have an '09 Brabus and my rear panels, the ones on either side of the rear window, are starting to fade. Anyone else have this problem? I am trying to get some time off next week so I can swing by the dealer and see what they have to say.

I am sure my panels have faded slightly since I purchased the car. Not sure how much, and if it has faded its been mostly universal.

if mine has faded, my vision has faded with it since it looks the same to me, but mine is red so they may not be comparable

I believe the OP is talking about the black C-pillar plastic that is the same for everyone regardless of panel or tridion color. My car is a year old now and I thought mine looked a little faded as well as compared to the black tridion especially. However, after a good wax job they seemed to return to their normal color. That plastic seems to oxidize and/or collect grime and become hazy on the surface. A good wax job does wonders for it though.

I know a guy who did his up with a carbon fiber paint job. Maybe he'll share some pics once he reads this thread.
