Oops. You meant 'bulb.' Sorry.

My smartie was smunched by a big, smelly truck backing up in line at the car wash.

Headlamp, part # A-451-820-06-59: $263.34.

smart center Portland replaced RF fender, headlight, installed clear mask. Total $763.13.

By contrast, headlight assembly for my old '96 Subie: $350 last time I checked...

Hope that helps.

standard headlamps are about $10 each
Nice headlamps will cost close to $20 each
HID's cost about $50-$500 for the pair depending on how much you feel like throwing at a name and a cheap warranty.

Bulbs are H-7's

We also have BRABUS like headlights available.

Thank you!

Ditto. Hit a deer with mine and busted the driver's side headlight and it was $260ish plus shipping. I replaced it myself, so it was just the cost of the headlight. Actually, the lens, reflector, and bulbs are fine on my damaged one. It just busted the black plastic rear housing. I thought it was fine at first since it looked good and everything worked, but alas not.

I could sell you my old one for the lens, but it would be very difficult to get it apart and back together so that it wouldn't fog up. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

Check with your insurance company. Lots of companies will replace the headlight cover as it is considered a forward facing windscreen, just like the windshield.
