Just get them for you back. The butt part I could take or leave.. but at the end of a long day, that heat is Xanadu. I don't live where it's very cold, but for the theraputic value, they are priceless.

We got them in the package that came with the Wife's Jetta. They are great when it is cold out and your butt hits that cold seat. First thing that goes on when we start the car. Heater won't be up for at least 5 min. But during that time, the heated seat keeps you warm. As for SF area, Even though you don't get down into the 20s, you still get down below 65. So heated seats even in SF would be nice to have on cold mornings.

If you have cloth seats then I would say no. I had my last car for 10 years and don't remember once ever thinking my seats were cold in the winter. However, if your seats are leather then Hell Yeah!!!!!!!

Oh yeah - definitely worth the extra money. I've had many heated seats in assorted Audis and Hondas and these are the best of the lot because the heat is in the seat backs as well as the seat bottoms. Nothing like it on a cold morning. Two position heater covers all the needs. Go for it, you'll never look back.
