Last summer (in the Mojave Desert) I accidentally turned on the heated seat...the AC was on and I just couldn't figure out why it seemed SO FREAKING HOT! I AM IN HELL!!! I'M SWEATING TO DEATH!!!

then i realized the heated seat was on...what a doofus!

Hey, that's a good idea.. - maybe someone in SCOA who likes to their could work out a shut off / interrupt switch for the seat bottom, allowing the back to stay on.

Actually, I had considered looking at how they're plugged into the system. I'm sure at the seat level there's some plug that connects them to a control circuit somewhere. If they have similar plugs (or are pins in the plug) one could theoretically swap them. Then the "half on" feature would warm the back and not the butt. I've just been to busy to monkey with it.
