Hi Jon,

We are only going to be able to get the 71hp Passion. Any news on the 12v normally aspirated fuel consumption?

71

Hi
yes my friend Nick has a 71 passion and is getting 40 MPG which is less than his Mustang which he runs on LPG and gets a 52 MPG equivalent . The Mustang is about 8 months old so it's run in .

From a UK poster who concentrates on conservation
54 mpg = 44.96 mpg American
63 mpg = 52.46 mpg American
48 mpg = 39.97 mpg American

From above 32 MPG = 26.64 mpg American
28 MPG = 23.31mpg American
40 MPG = 33.3 mpg American

Did the Mercedes Engine have this much flux in fuel consumption

By the way 22.01 mpg American has been the lowest I have seen todate on the 451

Hi Jon,

Our cars are supposed to have a taller 5th gear ratio and lower compression; maybe that accounts for the estimates of 40 mpg on the highway?
