Still having a good time in Canada?
Edmonton was bitterly cold, but we had a great car show / ride & drive there and the ice and snow allowed for excellent demonstrations of the car's traction & stability control systems. Calgary comes next, then Vancouver.
This works on the 450, but I'm not sure if it works on the new kids. It is also the ONLY way to accidentally lock your keys inside the car.
1) To lock your keys inside your car, close both side doors, use key to open rear hatch window. Press door lock on key to lock doors. Drop key inside hatch area. Close hatch. You have now locked your key inside your car. The only way to get your key out without a locksmith is to have made a mechanical key (for such an emergency) to open the rear hatch and retrieve your key.
2) To lock your doors without the key, shut both side doors, but open rear hatch as in 1) above. Take long pole and use it to tap the "door lock" mechanism in the middle of the dash. Take pole out or leave it in car and close hatch. You've now locked the doors without using the key.
As long as you don't leave anything valuable inside the car, you're probably doing them a favor in leaving your car unlocked. That way they can not only view the outside of this amazing car, but the inside as well!

check out the Smart Accessory Guide. maybe it's in there. probably listed as a "Remote Locking/Unlocking Mechanical/Non-Electrical Key Extension". if it's not offered yet, go to your local hardware store and ask for something called a "broom handle".
