Went in for my extended test drive on 2/3/08. Learned this about the convertable top.
The key fob will only open the top part of the way, only as far back as the back edge of the roof. To open the top fully down to the tailgate you must use a second feature built into the switch on the console. You still have the ability to control both opening features from the console.
