I got an 08 passion with 325 miles. The options were the color, convenience package, smart radio 10, and the silver tridon...MSRP was 15,850. I paid less than 13k out the door.
'09 Passion with convenien package, heated seat $15,800 plus 6% Idaho sale taxes, $60.00 license/fees, U-Haul trailer hitch and Area451 cruise controll, I already have my trailer.
09 passion, black with silver trid, comfort package, fogs, radio 10 (subwoofer), rubber mats, alarm, clock/revs = $16100 (approx). NO SALES TAX (CT) on vehicles that get over 40mpg (per epa).
Rally red passion coupe with silver safety cell paint, heated seats, power steering - $13200. With CA tax, tags, license, registration etc was $14798 - out of the door
I would ask, if the car is made well why would I need a Paint sealant. They must not think much of the quality of their new cars
You never have to pay for those items. Just say NO and get me a car without that junk. I've had 12 Honda's. Never an issues. That's how they make extra cash, a long with extended warranties too. They were trying to sell us that junk this last Honda we bought. Said NO. The cars are bullet proof.

Sorry about the snafu: the quote from 'forestacademy' was copied out of context from another thread by a spammer. The latter has been removed...
Before tax I paid 22K for my Brabus. Out the door was the same price as CT offers no sales tax for cars which get over 40 MPG -- only car that fits this category is currently the Smart.
