Tach & Clock install after ordering?

Hey all!

I'm at the dealer today getting stuff checked out, and while I'm at it I figured I'd ask about ordering a tach & clock for my car. She told me the price was 249.00 + install. On the pdf that was handed out in the forum it says 120 (under optional equipment) But the parts person said that would be the price if I had ordered them when I built the car.

Anyone order these after they built their car?

If so let me know if you paid the 249.00 price and how much for install!

Thanks

Rumor is that you have to drill into the dash and once the dash is in the car this is a difficult job! Being that I am picking up an orphan with no tack, I am planning to take some cues from the Subaru sti and going differently with myu tachometer!

It's easy. Don't pay to have it installed.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure I was getting the same price as everyone else. Unfortunately I'm too chicken to put a drill anywhere near my smart, and don't have a man in my life to do it for me So I'll leave it up to the professionals.
