So my warranty is up in 30 miles (dammit). Can I just take that friggin popping tat tat tat purge valve off? Disconnect it and the car will run virtually the same? It's still annoying as hell.

i drove with it diconnected for about a day or so. the car ran fine but the check engine light was on. after reattaching the valve the light cleared off in a few more starts.
