Third brake light waterful and burned

Is there water running into your third brake light?
Mine is waterful everytime it rains.
Also, the light housing "inside" was burned and cracked
Do the dealer have warranty on the light housing of third brake light?
My light housing cracked inside so you cannot find by only looking at the exterior.
Take the bulb out and then look inside the housing, you will see the transparent housing. That is what burned.

Please feedback me three answers, my dear friends

1.Is there water running into your third brake light?
2.Is your light housing burned?
3.Have anyone already had the dealer replace the third brake light housing for free under warranty?

Thanks.

Hmmmm, I noticed yesterday my 3rd brakelight was damp behind the lens. Yet to pop if off to look at the gasket. My car is 2 years old.

Ya damp, I forgot this word and replace by the weird word waterful, haha...
My car is also 2 years old. I think it is a common problem that the third brake light dampped and the housing burned. I will not use incandesence bulb in my third brake light again. Thanks for replying, and let me know the result when you check the housing.

It has happened to others: Water in top break light

If the car is still in warranty the dealer should fix at no cost.

Ya, I already saw that post before.
I wonder if it is only rare case.
And did the burned issue happened on every car??
I am in Taiwan, it is holiday now. I have to wait until 2/20 to check by the dealer.
Waiting is painful......

No problem. Your English is much better than my Mandarin. Sometime this week I'll look at it. I've got relatives there in Taipei, last name is Chang - you may know them. I have never met them myself or even got to stop by to visit.

...had it replaced under warranty...no dice...there's no gasket to replace...it's a sealed unit...the fix is to seal the corners and the bushing where the screw goes through with RTV...ask me how I know...

jetfuel ...a little damp..

I think the only way to stop "water in" is sealing it youself.
But I still want to replace it in warranty due to the burned housing.
The design is No Good because the bulb is way too close to the housing.
LED seems to be a solution.
I will try going to the dealer to replace one.
And seal it myself then post the "how to thread".... "If I succeed" Hahaha...........
Thanks for all your replying
and I seldom go to the union in Taiwan.
My time is always different to others.

Guys, I already take out the burned peice. That is only a transparent plastic which is used to block the heat from exterior red plastic-exterior light housing. Since I use the LED light, there is no need to keep that plastic. As for the damp, the housing is hard to separate, it need jetfuel to teach me.
