Wind Deflectors

AKA Window Visors or something or other.

So I've been looking for some here in the UK, and found some at smart pitstop which look just the ticket. Anyone got them fitted and are they actually any good, I realise they're only stuck on rather than with clips, so I was worried they might be a bit flimsy. Also, anyone got any pics of them on their car also, as the catalogue pics are quite restricted to just the window of the car rather than the whole car...

Many thanks!

You are correct in worrying about it being a bit too flimsy.

i installed them on mine 2 weeks ago. The tape backing was not the stickiest and it rattled at 70MPH. I had to press down a bit more firmly all around to get a good bonding. -cheers

Thank you. I'm just wondering if theyll go with my car. Blue/silver 451 with black and silver rear steels all the way around running toyo t1rs, being lowered this.month when my h&r springs arrive. The better half has burst her ear drum so having the window down past 50mph hurts. her so I thought this might help. Does it reduce thw noise much?

Hi maggi112,

Here's a couple of threads about the visors.

One more MOD--window visors
HELP!!! Side window wind deflectors ???

I have them on my car. They work fine for opening the windows a bit for ventilation. If it's raining and the wind is blowing the rain sideways, it's better to leave the windows closed.

I leave the windows all the way up on the freeway to reduce the wind noise.

Cheers. I'm just gonna go ahead and order them when paypal decides to allow me to pay! Hopefully they'll turn up soonish and I can have them before my summer trip. Assuming the suspension turns up this week I'll take pics of the whole effect

So paypal decided to stop being rubbish and actually let me pay after deciding the card I've spent a few thousand on with them was allowed to spend a further £50 once I verified it was mine. AGAIN hopefully they'll be here soon
