Anyone else think the rain sensor looks a bit oversized, and perhaps oddly positioned? I'm assuming this is the rain/light sensor included with the Comfort Package. It looks like such an afterthought.
Oh yeah, it's awful. Every other car I've seen with them, they are tucked up next to the top of the windshield in the tinted sunblock box. And, if you look, the sensor itself is TINY. It doesn't seem to require the hockey puck to house it.
I was starting to feel sorry for myself that I couldn't get the comfort package, ( I don't want leather seats) because I really wanted the sensor. Having seen it now, I don't feel sorry for myself at all. LOL
Ya know if there were web sites like this for GM cars, Ford and Chrysler cars they would get a ton of critic comments and maybe they would not be suffering as they are now. Ya the friggin sensor is over sized, at least in the photo. No worse than installing a Serious or XM Satilite radio in your car. Wires and antennas and sh-t all over the place. Germans and French dont have a monopoly on silly/stupid in anything. We do quite well too!!
That is strange and rather an eyesore from that pic. Well, at least it keeps the cost of the windshield down and options open by not integrating it as on other cars.
