1182 not in first Chicago delivery

I had hoped against hope that I might be in the first round, but apparently not.

I was factoring in the proportion of reservations:dealers:allocation....

i would have to think that anybody who got their configurator e-mail on 8/27 would likely get their cars in the first delivery batch. would seem to make sense.

This all depends on the status of your dealer. Months back Smart USA said that the reservation # had nothing to do with delivery.... But we all knew that the calls would come in the order reserved. Today, we see the logic, if the dealer does not have the State approved paperwork, you will wait.

Apparently, the dealership was only given the names of the first 70 people and they didn't know anything beyond that. I really wanted to get some idea how far down the confirmation numbers this delivery covered, but, as I said earlier, I was told that they don't have that information. <sigh>

I am a 1180 but because I changed my phone number and did not get my config completed until Oct. 24th, so I have not been contacted as of yet.

if I'm in the first 70 as well ... resv 4/3 confirmed 11/9 ... it would also look like Loeber has a list of 70 because Lake Bluff wasn't ready yet but only speculating at this point
