A 1457 Confirmation - Is this Normal?

I didn't reserve my car till late Dec. and got my confirmation yesterday(fri. the 11th. (9100511457). I don't know if this is par for the course, or if they may be really getting on the stick.

1457 is December 28, 2007 at 3:00:19 PM PST. Looks like your good, just the return email got held up. You don't have a "confirm your car details" yet, just an acknowledgment that they got your $99.

true. you may still be months away from receiving your config e-mail but at least the process has started.

Since they're finally starting to get to the dealers, I hope it won't be too long,
but I saw on the dealer forum that Crown Automobile in Birmingham (closest to me so far), won't be up and running 'till mid-April. Maybe soon after that I'll get 'The Email'.

You still have to wait on the backlog of reservations. It will be close to 10-12 months after you made your deposit.
