You can map a standard 71 bhp to be 80bhp, with a better filter and exhaust you could probably see 84bhp.

I would urge you to boycott this Brabus wannabe, they are clearly taking you all for fools. Demand what you deserve.
USA deserves better!

Configured mine this morning. Turbo or not, Its a steal for what you get. I like the painting lower fender trim, the exhaust, etc. I'll glady pay $3k not to look like the average 50 something smart car owner. And if you were to have your local dealer modifiy your smart like this it would be over $5000. Trust me, I've seen it! I don't think there will be that many orphans and if you orphan one of this...your an idiot. You could just buy it when it arrives and sell it yourself. If your orphan one of these you are just handing thousands of dollars in additional profit to your local dealer because they will load the car up with even more options(like atlanta adding $1690 low jack systems that cost them a couple hundred bucks). Smart did a good job at pricing this model and the only people complaining about it are ***** ***** [offensive, ed./Mod.] that can't get one because they didnt have a reservation or cant afford one. I'll make sure and post a pic of mine when it gets here in a few months!

Why post a pic we have already seen it.No need to insult people.Everyone has an opinion and no they are not jealous or what ever kindergarten reason you have. Some people like designer stuff, some don't they like more substance.I bet my orphan configurations is rarer than this Brabus.I will make it mine the way I like til the Brabus sport comes in. At present it is a good not great deal but it will be less so as more stuff becomes available at cheaper prices.

We deserve it

The reason we get these BRABUS specs in the USA is because we deserve them. They figured us out a long time ago and tailored them to who we are. Yes, am a bit exited in a juvenile kind of way, however, am more disappointed. Flashy>>yes - Substance>>little. They should spell it brabus (no caps) instead.

I'm with Big Panda. I configured a similarly optioned Passion Coupe (i.e. with Comfort Package to get the leather seats as the Brabus SMART has and the extra tachs), and it's about a $3000 premium.

I did a quick look up on the price of:

BRABUS full body kit ~$2500, and it comes painted
Brabus suspension ~$1000
Brabus wheels don't know how much they cost, but estimated at $2000
Brabus exhaust ~$100
Brabus floormats ~$150
Brabus pedals ~$200
Brabus gas cap cover ~$85

And it seems that SMART is putting more than $3000 worth of Brabus cosmetics on this car. Am I missing something here?

I certainly hope I can get a Brabus SMART because I was going to use many of these Brabus parts anyway. If I were to get a regular SMART, I would have gotten the Comfort package. It was an easy decision for me.

I configured mine last night Blk/blk cabrio with the fog light and alarm options. I think the price is good with what you get. I had planned on doing most of those same mods to mine when I get it. Yeah more horsepower would be nice but that would probably put the car out of reach price wise. This is a nice alternative. I just wish I had gotten the email 1 day earlier. I had just put a deposit down for a loaded used (1300 miles) blk/blue cabrio for under $19000. I pick it up Sat. I'll just drive it until/if the Brabus comes in and then sell it to buy the Brabus. At least I won't have to mod. it now. Just hope I get accepted to receive Brabus

It will definitely be a 16" front, 17" rear combination which has been seen on many of the previous fortwo brabus smarts.

I find it amazing that so many people are blindly jumping on this bandwagon before they knew the spec and price. I expect a lot of these are going to become orphaned when people realize what they are getting for their money.

This is exactly what i mean, you couldn't even come close to putting that car together yourself for the cost. The wheels alone, if you can get them right now, are over $2k. And there are also items that aren't available yet, like the smoked out headlights.
