hello all.
I am awaiting my 2nd smart.
my res. number is 513331581. I changed to brabus on 10-23-08 at 5:10 p.m.
I rec'd confirmation/congrats email on 11-19-08.
I ordered the brabus cabrio black on black on black, with fog lamps, daytime running lights and alarm system. adds up to 21,310.00
my dde is march-june 2009.
Im excited, but a little nervous...wonderin if I should have stayed withthe cheapest model I could get...after all...I want to turn itinto a trike eventually with harley front end! anyone know of a way to get a wrecked one with rear half of car ok with good engine, rear axle and body panels, and transmission all ok??? (its a mental picture I have at this time!)

Too bad the Brabus is just all looks and no engine/drivetrain improvement. I rather pay more for the much needed HP. Looks good either way.

Hello all of you SMART owners. I took delivery Friday morning the 12th of December. Initial thoughts are positive. The only problem I'm having is having people look at me while driving my new car. I'm sure I'll learn to live with this.
The representatives at the Portland Smart Center were fantastic. They don't usually open for sales until 10:00 am. I had a situation called I have to get to work by 12:30 and can't be late. They said we'll come in early, can you be here by 9:00. And so it happened. I drank some great coffee and sat back for a rapid process and was out the door in plenty of time to make it to work with time to spare.
When I arrived to decide to buy the car I was by myself and driving my three quarter ton deisel pick-up. No problems. We have a secure lot and you can park your truck in the back for as long as it takes for you to pick it up. What more can you ask as far as service goes?
If my Portland dealership folks are monitoring this site I want to say a big thanks to Trang, Clint,Katie and Bryce for excellence in service.

It's a great looking upgrade to the basic smart styling it's just a crying shame that there will be no performance improvements.

I do love those Brabus wheels though!

Huge let down in my opinion. All that good looks, suspension tweaks, better wheels, leather, etc to be the same engine as the base model for $11-12k.

A comparably equipped passion does not have a base price of $11-12K. The price gap is about $3000 between a passion coupe and brabus coupe
