2009 Brabus smart fortwo Configuration - Smart Car of America Forums : Smart Car Forum

So, I just submitted my 2009 Brabus smart fortwo configuration information, and shortly thereafter I received an email titled "Your smart fortwo Brabus configuration". The odd thing was that the message within was the same as the subject line, "Your smart fortwo Brabus configuration", with NOTHING else enclosed. Did anybody else get this same confirmation email? My guess is that they are working out all the quirks, so hopefully I will receive a proper confirmation.

Please post up any and all input. Thanks!

i just configured for the BRABUS and received the same e-mail

I also received the same email. I guess we need to wait until Nov. 2nd to see if we actually WILL BE getting a Brabus SMART.

BTW, does anybody know how many the Brabus is going to be limited to?

That's what I'm wondering, too! My DDE is June-Aug 2009, so I'm not sure how good my chances for a Brabus SMART are

When did you reserve? I reserved on May 25th, 2008...so hopefully I have a decent chance.

i think its 1500 units but i cant justify that 100%

I got that same email with the subject the same and I called SmartUSA. They said I was the first to call and to forward it to them. It was another glitch. We will be getting our confirmation on November 2nd if we got one of the 1,500 cars.
My original reservation was April 2008, but I think it is just a matter of the first 1,500 Brabus reservations they get, get the car.
