when I called today, they initially said, what did your e-mail say. I told her that it said to configure, but that the Forum people were saying that I might have a bad e-mail. She asked for zip code, then the street address. She came right back and said I was on the Brabus list.

I then got this e-mail:

You recently received an email in error from smart USA regarding the
need to configure your vehicle. Please disregard. We apologize for
any inconvenience.

Now I just need the one that sounds like it may be coming later...

wondering what happens to all the people who got the first notice and configured this morning and now found out they should have gotten the Brabus?

I just called Smart and they would only say that they will let us know via e-mail by the end of the week. She refused to say more. I am so afraid I'll lose it in the spam!!!

I'm 1706, got excited when I saw tbone28 (1716) made it, but then I saw c-smart-c (1624) didn't and was just as confused as ever

When i called the first time, she told me i am not on the "list". I called second time(6 hours later) and asked them how they picked people to go on to the "list". She told me that who ever configured the Brabus first(first 1500? people, didn't care/matter about location/color/model/original reservation) will get it.
Then I asked her again about my Brabus and she told me i need to wait for end of the week. "smart" is not very smart. I think they are still working on the Brabus allocation.
