2009 Brabus smart fortwo Configuration

Thinking about it - I wonder if they are going to reject the ones that didn't load up on options.

You do understand that you will not get the Brabus engine like in Europe. It is a Brabus but with the stock engine.

yes and no. the Passion i have reserved would hit $16,225 i think in the sticker. the Brabus that i 'configured' will only be about $2k more.

for that $2k, i'm getting the Brabus suspension, Brabus special interior, center dual exit exhaust, special bodywork, Brabus wheels, etc....still sounds like a good deal to ME!

'if' i wanted a performance car, i'd get something else, NOT a smart.

hey, not slamming your decision... just expressing disappointment that the turbo engine still isn't offered in the US. I owned a model 450 when I was stationed in Italy, and it was my wife's DD. Driving the 451 that's in my garage now just makes me miss the perkiness of the turbo engine in a car that light. By no means is any stock Smart car a performance vehicle... but they are still fun to drive!

" The BRABUS reservation program will open at 5:00pm PST, October 23, 2008. The window for requesting to convert a current reservation to a BRABUS model will close at 11:59pm PST, November 2, 2008"
They will notify you after this time period they don't actually say how long after that though
