We're on the same page. My aftermarket mod list included the Brabus front and side skirts anyway. I'm not 100% sold on the Brabus rear, but I'll make the final determination when I see it in person. If I don't like it, i'll probably replace it with an S-mann rear.

I figured out the money I'd spend modding a regular smart and then a Brabus, and the Brabus will save me about $3000.

Why not? If you're looking for a Brabus engine, then I agree. But then again, why buy a Smart if you want to go fast? Even a Brabus-engined Smart is not fast...it is merely faster than a regular Smart.

If you look at it from a pure financial standpoint, then i disagree. I got $6000+ worth of Brabus parts for $3K more than a comparably equipped Passion. I then turned around and parted out the various Brabus parts i didn't want to help offset the costs of new wheels, suspension, and rear bumper...not bad in my books.

I just kinda wish it actually came with the stuff that it was said to come with but didn't...... notably the e-brake and gearshift knobs.

Does anyone have a picture of a CABRIOLET with an S-Mann rear spoiler with the TOP DOWN, shot from the side? I'd like to see how far it protrudes. The only shots on Smart Maddness are with the top up.
