Other than color what other changes are planned for the 2009 model year?? I want to order one but if there are changes I'll wait.

Why would you wait - if you order one now there is no way you'll get a 2008 model.

The German smart website configurator shows a new style alloy wheel which the US probably won't get, as well as MHD (Micro-Hybrid Drive stop-and-go) gas engines which the US might get.

The only extra German colors are a Dark Grey.. then there is the same U.S. ones (blue, black, light grey, red, and white)
