I just left the Beverly Hills Smart dealer and was told the new 2009's will be in November, 2008. I was also told that the changes that will be made to the 2009's are this, the orangey red and the yellow smarts will be gone, in their place will be a candy apple red and a sandy color in their place. There will also be cargo storage inserts in the back storage area, not much more in the "change" department. Oh, and he mentioned the price should most probably be kept the same.
too bad they couldn't have chosen the 'burgundy' color i've seen on the 450's. that with a silver tridion looks really good. to me, it would make up for losing the yellow.
not so crazy about a 'sandy' color. i've already have a "khaki" color Jeep.
Saw the "sandy/beige" color up in B.C. two years ago, and it's really a nice color. Non-typical!
guess i'll just have to see it, but looks like i'll be going with either white/silver or silver/silver on my Passion. thank God i won't be asked to 'configure' until late this year.....got plenty of time to make up my mind, change it and make it up again. or not......
