The information below was posted on clubsmartcar on 8/14. With the current exchange rate at 1.2, the equivalent value in US Dollars would be $22,826. Also interesting that this price is for the black frame. Silver frames are supposed to have an upcharge. Not sure how important this information is since Penske may be getting a better deal than the Canadian dealers get... or not? Anyway, its an interesting number since all news reports have pointed to a $17,000 starting point. Maybe this provides the expected range above the starting point? Just a guess.

Fortunately, car pricing in Canada is not just as simple as applying the current USD-Canadian doller conversion. Just compare any brand and you'll see that typically cars in Canada can be $10,000 higher. So the Cabrio should still range 17 -20K here, depending on options.
