3 days - smart wants it back for inspection

Just got a call from dealer: smart is asking them to have delivered cars back in for an inspection. I just got mine on Monday night, and they want to "check it out" on Thursday! Something is up! Stay tuned.

It has something to do with the shift linkage and the application of some missing stickers.

The one that SMART's owner bough for his son fell apart when he was necking with his girfriend. They want to make sure its 'boot-knocking' proof.

I hear it has to do with the high-speed canippiling pin and the chrome knuckle berrings and the interface. Good thing they caught it.
