This will be real inconvenient for folks who live a long way from the dealer...be interesting to hear how they handle it...

Considering where the car's built, good thing it wasn't smelly cheese!
Actually, a true story- I knew of someone with a PT Cruiser (built in Mexico) with a burrito stuffed under his seat!

Service Follow up apointment

Just got a call from smart center Hartford they wanted to make an apointment to check out the car and speak to me about the car and delivery. Said it would take about an hour.
Will take it there tomorrow. Is this just Hartford or are others being contacted? Thanks

well that's funny, =)
my friend went in for a tune up for his honda crx
and he would constantly smell some meat/ ketchup whenever he would turn on the vents...
the verdict?...well turns out when he opened his hood to put some windshield wiper fluid, there was a burger and some fries sizzling by the engine...
some people need to really get a check list. =P

Okay, I'm back from the service. Service manager said they had reports of a setscrew not being properly tightened at the factory. The screw has something to do with securing the shift cable. Mine was fine ,
and none they've checked, so far, has been loose (so they say). Took them about 35 minutes total. No new stickers spotted.

Hopefully this Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) will be performed on all cars including those not delivered yet and by next week new owners will not have to worry about it

Is that going to tighten up the sloppy shift points?

My little smartie will headed back next week. Are we going to get some bling-bling decals?
