SMART MICRO HYBRID DRIVE
First is the Smart (mhd) Fortwo micro hybrid drive and will be presented to the public for the first time. This version utilize roughly 8 percent less fuel in the driving cycle and up to 20 percent less fuel in metropolitan traffic and reduces CO2 emissions.

[SIZE=2]The Smart Fortwo micro hybrid will have 71 hp, will feature a start/stop function that uses the engines idling phases. The new model will be available from around the end of October 2007 as a coup

MINI took an additional two years after lauch to intro the upscale models to the US. We will probably see something similar with the Smart. I'd go for the CDI (for the economy) and keep my JCW for the performance car.
