Sounds like someone who isn't open to alternate transmission tech. The review sounds bias for some reason. Just another wannabe blogger. People need to try for them self if they like or dislike. Reviews are only one persons perspective and ether promotes or denotes. Ever car I have ever driven has its good and its bad points. It just amazes me how drastic people are when it comes to how people like or dislike. If I went by the revews I wouldn't have gotten a Smart. But I'm glad I didn't, I love my Smart. It has its own personality.

Three pages of comments on there already... No sense in leaving a comment there. Here, on the other hand:

Why do so many people insist that the production car with the absolute best gasoline-only mileage in the US gets abysmal gas mileage?

Just because it's a small car doesn't hold it to a completely different standard - it's still the BEST.

Everyone thinks the smart should get over 100 mpg...and perform like a small porsche or ferrari...and be safer than a mack truck...and be a hybrid that runs on electricity...and cost $2000 because it's made in India...

so, basically, it simply has to do with people's ignorance about what the heck the smart even is. out of every 100 people i speak to, perhaps 1 or 2 realy seems to have any clue at all about what the smart is, and what it was designed to do...

Screw "public opinion"...

I didn't buy my car (or my motorcycle, or my house, or my anything else, for that matter) to satisfy anybody but *ME*.

If Joe Blogger doesn't like it, Joe Blogger doesn't have to get anywhere near it.
