Cool, thanks, that is very interesting, reminds me of the net our M Coupe had. Too bad the luggage compartment cover is attached, but looks very handy. Hope its not too expensive, I might have to get one

(actually I had thought the car would come with the shelf bit like other hatches).
I have a little dog and a seat she can be hooked to that works with the seatbelt so the whole kit and caboodle is secure and doesn't fly around in case of short stop/accident. Has fit fine in the back seats of all sorts of cars, from Minis to 911s, and I was wondering if I would be able to jerry rig it to work in the hatch if there was a way to tie things down back there.
One thing that was clear when I was looking at the coupes in the SF showroom was that I'd have to use something to separate the hatch area from the front so groceries and stuff couldn't go from the back to the front and wedge in between or under the seats, maybe something like this:
