Unfortunately you can't do that to the owners of new F150's.... But it's still a nice trick.

So I go to Harbor Freight to pickup a cheap metric socket wrench kit. The guy at the front door starts asking me the typical questions we have answered a hundred times. Some db in a harley shirt chimes in: How'ld that do against a semi? I asked him if he had a Harley. He answered yes. So I said. Then whats your point? Then I just walked away.

I'm usually pretty pleasant but I getting sick of some these retards. PS. I had 60 pounds on this guy or I would have probably let it go.

I think you made your point (nicely done), and 'walked away'. But, I doubt the man was retarded. Ignorant, opinionated, bone headed, yes.

Never been very pc. I can still laugh at stereotypes as well. I avoid alot of stress by not worrying about such things. There is always someone who will take exception to one says. The other day Jessica Simpson was crucified over the use of the phrase indian giver. Give me a break. The girl gets crucified daily for being "not so smart" in a hundred different terms. I'll give her a pass on that one unless she was giving a speech at a reservation.

My husband's best friend sent him the picture the day after we bought my little 'motorskate'. I feel very safe driving it. Most people who have asked questions have been nice and curious about gas milage. I didn't know there was any 'hate' against the smart car until I read here. Jezzz, the same people who blog on MSNBC must blog on Nora.
One think I know for sure: Kids love it!!
By the way, my other motorskate is a Harley and I feel much safer in my smartie.

Definitive De-Bunk

The car in the picture between the trucks is in fact a Ford Escape SUV. The driver survived because the driver side was 'squished out' as the truck didn't hit the car straight on and so you are seeing in the picture is the two ends of the vehicle coming together (sort of).

Well, I was trying to post a link to Snopes where the facts about what actually happened in this picture and the falsehoods that are being spread, but the forum won't let me post the link, so if you go to Snopes and search for an article entitled, "Save the Planet with a Small Car" you should find the article.

I wish I could just give you the link, but the filter won't let me... sorry.

Rumor is debunked by Snopes

Here's the link from Snopes.com

The car involved was actually a Ford Escape SUV!

(Well, I tried to post the link but the site isn't letting me because I only have 1 post.) So go to Snopes.com and search "Smart Car." It'll be the first link on the list.

Edit:
Sorry, didn't realize that I was duplicating someone else's post. I'm still learning how to deal with message boards.

It looks a lot like the rim on my son's Gran Prix...
The picture is unbelievable.
