Who is going to be the biggest Smart Dealership in the USA?

Will any Dealership have a Smart Tower?

The Twin Cities will have a tower, although I imagine it'll be smaller (four cars tall is what comes to mind), and sadly, without any roadsters.

Biggest? As long as I get mine, I don't care if it's the size of a shrinky-dink.

Where is the big knob at the top so you can spin the cars and look at the ones in back?

One of the vestiges of the Swatch partnership. The spinning watch display.

Looks like the Edison, NJ dealer Catena is building the tower also.

I think the distribution of the smart dealers has been designed so that all the dealers will have roughly the same sales, at least for the first year or two. All the new buildings being constructed as "smart centers" are almost identical. The interiors of both the new buildings and the walled off areas of existing dealers will look the same with the furniture, floor covering and color schemes all selected by Penske himself. I'm sure some dealers would like to build towers, but none as tall as those in Europe.

Of course "largest" could mean number of deliveries. Bigest I've heard of so far is San Diego with 1000 reservations.

Regarding the towers, let me ask you this, what dealer is going to tie up 18+ cars to display, rather than make the sale?

I say this while smiling... that would look really cool, but I could not imagine it happening - Not for awhile at least.

According to the permit requests for the Bloomington, MN dealership, they didn't know if the tower would be actual cars or mockups - I would guess the later.
