German insurance rates

Can't remember the source, but in Germany the cheapest car to insure is a smart.

Try looking up your CROTCH ROCKET Motorcycle. I had a friend on another forum that bought a Suzuki GTR or something like that because the dealer said it should only cost him about $650 to insure. Try $650 per month!!!

They have to charge that much in order to able to fully fund the death benefit in the short amount of time before it's needed.

Every biker I've known has said, "Sooner or later you're going to crash - badly". And, with the way the crotch rocket guys showboat on the roads it's inevitable that it will be sooner rather than later. I've personally lost one very careful rider, and nearly lost another - both mature, very experienced riders, both wearing helmets, boots, and jackets. I love the bikes, but I'm smart enough to know that i don't belong on one.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Well, I can tell you for sure that you do NOT want to be run into doing 60 mph. Got hit in the back last year. The MINI was doing 60ish and the "impaired" driver was doing about 100. 10+ weeks in the shop and $11K later we were both back on the road, but not an experience that I could recommend.
