Funny they gave these guys diesel and the semi-hybrid to drive to Detroit for the USA smart launch. Guess the Europeans don't care and giving the Motortrend the start-stop engine encouraged his participation!

I wasn't questioning whether
it worked or notbut whether it really would save all that much gasoline perturbing (loading up the engine) like that every time you stopped. That's alot of stopping and starting for city/surburban driving.
In my opinion, the jury is still out on that one yet.....time will tell.
