I can't help but find irony that an article published by MicroSoft Network, creator of buggy poor UI software, for having ' rough edges' or asking 'more of the driver than we think reasonable'
About that last statement too, first he laments about "gear-changing is becoming a lost art in North America" then he says the Smart's tranny is asking too much of the driver? Wha?
Also odd about the stilted groceries remarks , I can get more a week's worth of groceries in the smaller Mini boot, not everyone has a family of 10 or something
I know its impossible for any review to be subjective, but so called professional reviews should at least make an attempt to step back and share information without skewing it based on personal estimations so much (for example, share information on using the transmission best and how it works - and perhaps why they say it can't have a manual - vs simple judgments).
