Speed TV/ESPN and TNT were there covering the event, so expect to see some kind of blurb about the event during the race coverage this weekend. I know they came over and filmed your truely and my son, look for a guy wearing a t-shirt with a smart on the front, that's me. It was cool because there were only about 10-12 fans there, the rest were media. The let us inside the fence and talk with the drivers because there were so few of us.
Does anyone know if SpeedTV or ESPN will televise the smart part of the Chicagoland event? (Sorry for my ignorance, I know nothing about NASCAR at all...)
The race is on TNT as I'm posting this. They had a pre-race story showing for a few seconds, Kyle Petty and Kurt Busch with the Mobil 1 smart cars at Soldier Field. Cool, but way too short.......
Go to NASCAR.com, search 'ponytail express chicagoland ' and you can watch the Smart car segment. I'd post a link but NASCAR site bogs down my pc so bad I don't want to go back.
