New Colors in 09

Just a quick note, the model 2009 (to be coming out late summer) will have two new colors: a brighter, "more red" red, and a medium grey. The current red/orange and the current yellow will be discontinued.

From this morning's conversation with O. Amélineau, Smartville's media and spokesperson at Daimler France.

Thanks for the heads up. Better grab those orange and yellow panels while you can. A future collectors item! I wonder what the French think is more "red" since the current "red" is supposed to be "red".

I will miss the Yellow but glad the duller red is gone and is being replaced by a brighter more lively RED.

Metallic paint or molded in colors?

Hey I may have to put on hold on purchasing an extra set of panels if a better red is coming out next year. Thanks for the heads up. Regina

No yellow?! I really hope they are not going to replace fun colors for dreary ones that would be at home on a big sedan, this is a fun car
