Wow, they are missing the boat completely. The second breath out of everyone's mouth (#1 is "COOL Car! What is it?!") is "I love the color!!!!!"
I'd love to see a lime green, a bright orange, a neon pink, something new and different. I'd love to see a "You Belong in the Zoo" polka dotted car, heh heh heh. I'd be first in line for that panel set.
I can never find my husband's grey Honda at the Target because there's about a hundred other grey, same'ole same'ole cars parked around it. I loath that car for so many reasons. It's a good thing it's reliable.
OK, I'm gonna be gauche....here's some more ideas.....and I would buy this. Maybe I'm mental, and ya'll will turn up your noses, but....
What about glitter paint like they put on bass boats? Bright red sparkling glitter would be utterly cool. Can you imagine the plate: RBYSLPR ?
There is a tech school right up the street which has an automotive paint class. I ran into a student at the gas station who had painted his old Chevy Caprice in swirled pearl paint, like a bowling ball. It was utterly fantastic. I would have done it in a heartbeat, but it was his own class project.
What about some of the two-toned paints I see every once in a while? The car is one color til it turns a corner, and then it turns a completely different color?
When will car companies ever have some imagination? Geez, you can even get your slide-phone in lime green and pink nowadays. Kids would eat that stuff up!
No yellow?! I really hope they are not going to replace fun colors for dreary ones that would be at home on a big sedan, this is a fun car

ABSOLUTELY!!!!
you guys hit the nail on the head! if any of you are old enough to remember the Mopar Muscle colors; Tor-Red, Sub-Lime, Lemon Twist, Go Mango, Panther Pink and of course MY favorite, Plum Crazy.....if they added something like THAT, along with the basic Black, White and Silver, THEN they would have a great list of colors from which to choose.
I will miss the yellow but maybe, like the new beetle; they want to re-introduce another shade of yellow. I totally agree with the colors everyone mentioned, remember competition orange.
Not gray - that's soooo BORING!! I'm with Springlering: "I'd love to see a lime green, a bright orange, a neon pink, something new and different." That says smart to me. Not gray!
