My last post was about the frustration I had with service. I just decided to call Mercedes Benz of South Bay to find out what is going on with their Smart Dealership. A service manager told me there will be no dealership. I said, "No hope for a Smart Center in Torrance?" He said, "No. No hope at all." That was that.
Anybody else have any info that hopefully disagrees with this person?
I am so disappointed. I had high hopes I'd be able to bring mine there for service. Laguna Niguel is 60 miles and Beverly Hills has that traffic to contend with.

I have a couple of posts about this in General Discussions but wanted to get the word out where it was discussed before.
I spoke to a service adviser at Mercedes Benz of South Bay then called the Smart USA 800 sales number. Both confirmed that there will be no Smart Center there. No plans for other locations so Beverly Hills, West Covina, Hollywood and Lagina Niguel are it. And Riverside for you IE dwellers.
The bright side is that's still a heck of a lot of dealers for such a small region even though we have to drive in bumper to bumper traffic just to get to one of these dealers from any part of Southern California.
