If you do your research you come to find that these little ugly cars aren't so smart at all! They don't get nearly as good of mileage as a Prius, can't fit more than ONE other person and have absolutely no trunk space---8 cubic-feet shouldn't count! They are ugly and if you get into a car accident in one with something other than maybe...a Vespa, you can kiss it goodbye!

Then why are you wasting your time posting here? You don't buy a smart for its gas mileage - that's why you'd get a Prius. The smart is 10x better looking than the prius and 10x more fun. Not safe? Oh, please.

I'm thinking a prius owner who purchased before checking out a smart. However, there are some other things we can tell about him. He is a nervous poor driver; wrecks seem to be on his mind. He has poor eyesight and below average intelligence; saying we are ugly! Any person of even average eyesight and intelligence can see and knows smarts are nothing less than adorably cute. He has obviously never sat in a smart: they have more legroom than a prius. the intelligence factor seems to apprear again. Also, he has never even inspected a smart. Saying they have no cargo space, when in fact there is ample space for the average driver and friend along with two suitcases. This tells me that he has no friends and never goes on vacation. Either out of work or ... Maybe you can do a Sherlock Holmes and glean some other facts from his short essay?

That is one of the goofiest threads I've ever seen started. I am only responding because I think the numbskull who started it should be ridiculed by those of us who actually own the car and understand the benefits.
