This is Andrea at your local smartcenter. Regarding discussion on updating you on your orders, we have nothing more to say than what has already been said at this point. SmartUSA only sends us information (contact info & ETA) when your car is approx. 30 days away from delivery. When we receive that info, we do contact those customers and let them know what is going on. As far as those of you who have more than 30 days until delivery, we would be telling you "It takes about a year after you reserve your smart to actually have it in hand"...something you have already heard. The feedback that I'm getting from several of our reservation holders that stop in frequently is that they are tired of hearing us say that and don't want to hear from us until we actually have something valid to say??? I don't want to be repetitive and I understand it is frustrating to not know what is going on. But please be patient with us and smartUSA as they have to implement a system for updates before we can. We truly have no idea who our reservation holders are unless you contact us, place your reservation in-store, or are set to deliver within 30 days. I hope this clarifies some misunderstandings about our customer service. Again, please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
