Actually I blame Cox! Their stupid spam filter blocked my invitation to register on 3/19 so I didn't get in until I called the 1-800 number on 3/20. Lesson learned! Still... I look at it this way... I could be number 218 on the list (no offense to whoever is!)
LOL, Well Vlad, you can take a spin in mine. WHat kind did you get? I got cabrio with every option, red/black (huskers baby!!!) with black leather interior.
Well now the news is that the first 13 may be arriving piecemeal through the end of January. I waited almost a year. I can wait a few more weeks. Then it will give the insurance company time to put it in their system. I called to get a quote and they don't have smart cars in the computer. Even rejected the PIN number. They asked if it was a sports car. LOL. I will be burning rubber going zero to 60 in fifteen plus seconds.
Wouldn't be Allstate, would it? I gave the VIN to my agent and he tried to get a quote but couldn't. A problem ticket has been submitted to get the car added in Nebraska (he said it's already there in other states).
Got an update call from Ryan this evening. They spoke with the truck driver and he plans to arrive either late this evening or first thing tomorrow morning. He was delayed due to the snow storm that moved through last night.
So tomorrow (Friday) is THE day! Ryan stated several media outlets will be in as well as the newspaper (sort of an informal grand opening). I'm going to stop by after work and check things out. I would assume deliveries will start tomorrow or Saturday! Whoever is in the top ten... it's your turn to be on TV!

Cars are there! I stopped by at 11:00 a.m. and there were 7 or 8 still sitting outside. Ryan was gone with one of the local news channels on a test drive. His brother told me thats what he would be doing most of the day.
It sounds like they had demos and showroom cars and only like 3 or 5 for actual customers. They stated they did not know when the rest would show up. I find that hard to believe. Someone has to know when and where the cars are if they are sitting in Baltimore.
