I don't think smart GmbH or SmartUSA has a thing to worry about.

Maybe more dealers would help. I know that my 400 mile round trip to the dealer was a consideration to me when I bought mine. If there had been a dealer closer, it would have been a much easier decision.

Don't think piglith implied any hope for bad news, just stated the fcts as to what is happening and what the result is likely to be for smart sales. You start the day with some bad Cheerios?

Smart is going to do just fine.Roger Pensky doesnt need you to be wringing your hand and crying over the future of Smart.Geese, just get out there and enjoy what you've got.Everything is going to be fine, people. As long as you are not one of these people who are over their head in debt, let the system work itself out.Dont worry so much, just get out there and enjoy what the smart will do for you.

Most domestic and import dealers are lucky to be selling (1) ONE CAR A WEEK!! That is in high volume areas. SMART is doing just fine!

I visited smart center Indy last Friday, and was told that sales are up for them. In fact, while I was there, they were in the middle of two deliveries. Bet the dealers for the "big three" wish they had that problem right now!

I have to say that everyone who is privy to this board is part of a movement that is only going to grow by leaps and bounds. In the next decade there are going to be so many micro cars that are going to contribute to the stream that already we are part of.My own personal feeling is that the next gigantic entry will be the Fiat 500.No matter what happens, the smart will be forever viewed as a serious entry in the microcar arena. From now till the end of civilization, the smart will always be looked upon as a wonderful,SERIOUS entry in this micro car designation. You should be proud of the fact that you are in essence leading the pack into the future.Thats ALL I've got to say about that. You THOUGHT it,I SAID it.
